Use RV Park Reviews. Com for your pick of RV parks. Other campers list what they like and don like about any camp ground you are looking for in the area.

Too many good choices. Price and location things to do or see! Enjoy your trip and stay in the area.

We have stayed in River Plantation RV Park in Sevierville TN on a couple different occassions. Nice park about 10 miles off exit 407 on I-40.

If you would consider staying in a Gatlinburg you might try Twin Creeks. Nice location and even nicer folks that own and run it. We have stayed there for the the last 9 years on our way back to Ohio from Florida.
Good Luck with whatever your choice.

We just got back yesterday from a new and Very Nice RV Resort called Anchor Down it is about 10 miles north of all the action. River Plantation is another one to look at. But we really liked anchordownrvresort.com in Dandridge TN

Both of those are on my "to do" list. Beautiful parks.

X2 large sites and close to everything in Pigeon Forge. Our next stay will probably be Anchors Down as everyone speaks so highly of it.
If you enjoy seeing wildlife, Cadas Cove is a great day trip drive. Cades Cove - Great Smoky Mountains National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

River plantation for sure. Great people and large sites. Good power. No low voltage problems. We had to go to another campground once, when River Plantation was booked up. They closed our window awning so they could get another camper into the place next to us. It was not a site. They turned it into a overflow site. Most of the sites at other campgrounds are real tight. Book at River Plantation and then tour other campgrounds and see if I am not right.

Any recommendations for RV Park in Pigeon Forge, TN?
We liked Pine Mountain. Nice and close to all the action, but far enough down the road to enjoy piece and quiet. Newer with awesome facilities, and trolley service right at the entrance.

We left the area last week.
For a reasonable priced place that we felt was good was Riverside RV Park & Resort in Sevierville. $38 per night tax included. On the river, gravel roads, level sites. Easy to get to as it is close to I-40 on the Parkway
We also stayed at Anchor Down Resort for a few days to check it out. The ultimate RV resort overlooking the lake and Smoky Mountains. $80 per night including resort fees and taxes.
ETA: we were covered up with Stink Bugs while in the area. They got into every crack and crevice in the motorhome. We now have to look for them every time we stop and open the slides. I would guess we have killed about 100 since we left there. Enjoy

We spent a week in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area in August during our Great Granddaughter Getaway & RV Adventure. We stayed in the national park and enjoyed our stay immensely. It was just a short drive to the neighboring towns whenever the urge to shop struck. We *love* national parks.
