AnyNet message on TV

Had original TV over fireplace replaced late December at dealer. Now on road and see this message in lower left corner of screen. Doesn't matter whether on cable, over air or Direct TV.

Goes away after a few minutes. Have tried checking source on TV remote and tried various options on Vega touch pad.

Does not do it on front TV

Anyone seen this on their TV? Since I had a 2016 TV and now might have a 2017 TV wondering if that is issue?

Sorry pics are not rotated properly

I believe "Anynet+" is a DirecTV term. Do you have one of their sat. receivers on the TV in question?

I have Direct TV but have never seen this message on previous TV nor entire time I owned last Coach with direct TV

Not saying your wrong. Just have never seen it and no selection on DirectvTV changes it.

Anynet+*lets different Samsung devices communicate with each other in a way that eliminates the need for multiple remote controls. • To useAnynet+*on a TV and an external device, both the television and external device must have the*Anynet+feature.

I assume it's still Samsung tv? Here's a webpage on setting up Anynet+. It must be turned on for that tv, looks easy to turn off.

Anynet+ is the TV's control method for DVD players to be controlled by the TV. You must have a Samsung TV. There should be a setting in the TV's menu to turn off the Anynet+ function. Check out this article. What is Anynet&Reg;? (with pictures)

I have a LG TV at home and Anynet relates to other LG audio visual equipment. Whenever I play a movie on the LG Blueray player, it automatically connects to the LG TV and shows the Anynet connection message. May not be the same in your case.

I disabled it on my system. The different machines all talked to each other - try to play a DVD on the bedroom player, and the main TV would come on too. Then it would shut off after a few minutes, and the DVD player in the bedroom would obligingly shut off also. What a pain to diagnose that....
