Won't the improved flow pump allow for better pressure when two taps are being used at the same time? I know our 4008 is fine when running from one source. Shower pressure is adequate when running that alone, but when the kitchen sink is turned on when the shower is running the pressure is dismal. That's why I want to change pumps on ours. This way we can run the dishwater and take a shower at the same time and have a good flow rate from both.

My old 4008 is now reserved for filling the Aqua-Hot boiler via the drain hose, which is the preferred method. I made a pair of connectors so that I can run it off of a 12 Volt Milwaukee Electric Tool battery. If need be I could use it as an emergency spare because I do rinse it out good after doing the antifreeze, which technically isn't toxic anyway but doesn't particularly taste very good.

Yes, as long as the two fixtures aren't on the same line. In the case of the dishwasher and rear bath, they are separate so you will see a benefit.

Nice update and great info... I was waiting to hear if this made a big enough difference to install... sounds like I will stay with the stock pump for now.. mine is not whisper quiet by any means but it's not irritating in any way either.. my pressure seems ...Thanks
