I would also like to know what the heck is a diplexer and where do you get one?
In the past in my last 5er I just connected to my only input for cable with my satellite dish and turned off my antenna amplifier and everything worked fine.

My Wineguard Traveler has two separate feeds that allow me to hook up two separate receivers. All i had to do is run the second one to a coupler that hooks it to the rear receiver. I have two of the RV receivers that Dish sells.
That lets us watch different channels on both TVs.

Here's one on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Eagle-Aspen-50...sin=B0018BS728
They are an inexpensive item that you can find most anyplace that deals with satellite TV, probably Best Buy, Radio Shack, etc or online.

Your Travel'r must be able to access both Dish satellites at once. With the in-motion dish it will only access one satellite at a time. The receivers cannot be tuned to channels on different satellites. An external dish on a tripod will do the same as a Travel'r with the right set up plus it's mobile (to a point, real estate and cable) to avoid obstacles.

That is correct. It has three feed horns and will do HD. I carry a "Tailgater" for the sites that I can't see the sky from the roof. Too many trees. It is not an in motion unit.

I have a question about the Tailgater. Someone told me once that it has some sort of internal battery, and that the battery can only be recharged when it is connected to the receiver via coax cable. He said if you go several months without using it, the battery will go dead and can't be recharged, making the dish useless. Have you ever had a problem with that?

I don't think that is correct. It runs on power that is provided by the coax cable. I have had no problems and we have had it two or three years now.

Found a "Diplexer" at Radio Shack. When we get to Texas I'll try and set it up. Hoping this can resolve the issue of the two satellites. If it doesn't I think I will be changing back to Direct TV. The two satellite thing is just stupid especially since they give you know way of knowing which satellite the channel is coming from. There is a web site with that info but it is not up to date.
