Anyone remove the bezel on the SaniMarine Toilet control?

Trying to get the SaniMarine toilet to work. Entegra needs a photo of the back of the controller. Online instruction say to use a putty knife to release the bezel, yeah right! I do not have a thin blade putty knife with me. Has anyone found the trick to getting the bezel off without breaking it?
BTW, first trip with the 21 and already the sensor for the holding tanks are not working like others have experienced and the POS SaniMarine will not flush.
Thanks for any assistance from those that have come before me.

Instructions show inserting putty knife, pushing down in center between face and bezel. Guessing a credit card would be too thick, maybe the blade from a hacksaw, kitchen knife or something similar.

Thanks Tim, I have tried everything I can think of that I have with me. I have about everything tool wise onboard except something thin enough to replace the putty knife. It has to be very thin and flexible to get inside of the bezel and still be able to release it, what ever "it" is

I have been online trying to find where the release is but no luck. Justin at NIRVC is seeing if he can find one on the lot to find where the release on the bezel is.

Chuck,

This video might not address you immediate problem with the SaniMarine, but perhaps could be useful later: https://youtu.be/fCZ3jmKBZHk

Thanks Joe. I have decided after not liking the Sanimarin since the day of delivery with no water to flush with, then not working on the first trip, it is going to be replaced with a Tecma. Don't think I even want to know how to fix this one.

Let us know how that replacement process works in terms of time, cost, and effectiveness.

My SaniMarine has been making noises, thus the research. I just unlatched my toilet and discovered it is a different model than the one in the referenced video. Totally different components, so the video doesn't do me much good.

Joe, The Bezel did come off with a very thin flexible putty knife. The release for that bezel are as ridiculous as the Sanimarin toilet. Nothing is thin enough to release the bezel without damage to the face. Also I noticed there has been something different mounted in the wall cutout. The screw holes are 1 inch off from the current control head screw holes. Did Entegra have a Temca mounted in here before then changed to the SaniMarin?? Lots of questions to be answered Monday.

Could you some how weave a piece of fishing line behind the plate and then pull it off?
