Aqua-hot 2014 anthem
Just a heads up. I had the #3 pump fail for the second time in 6 months. This is a recirc. Pump for the hot water. Aqua hot stated they had an issue with a certain batch and they are sending a new one over night. If this happens, the unit will not run. You will get a low liquid level as well as a pump failure. Just unplug one of the pump leads and everything will work. However your hot water will not be continuous.

Thank you for the heads up Tony. BTW- where is #3 pump located, in the AH unit I assume. I did find two of the zone pumps.

Some have two and some three. Number three is to the right of the burner.

Thanks for the post Tony. I just sent your info to a person that can not access this forum. He had the same problem the other day.

No continuous hot water. It would run out get cold then heat back up. The unit itself would not run on the burner just the electric element. I had a low fluid level and a pump 3 fail light on at the diagnostic panel.

Mine too. The repair shop replaced 2 pumps. Kept running out of hot water during shower. Pump #2 light had turned red. They still can't get any heat out of zone 1 registers. Have checked for kinked hoses but haven't yet solved the problem.

I had an issue with zone 1&2 heat registers. Tuned out to be the hose by the right hand side of kitchen cabinets. It would hang up on a plastic shield that kept it off of the electrical and other hoses. Cut the shield at an angle and sanded the edges smooth. Once reinstalled no more problems. It worked fine Witt the slides in but when extended no water movement.

Just replaced my #3 pump. Not as easy as it appeared but not to bad. Just make sure you pinch off the 2 hoses going to the pump as well as the fuel lines. I also recommend that you turn off the system and run the sink and shower on hot to cool the fluid. It does get hot as my burns will testify. The burner must be removed to get the pump in and out.
