Aqua Hot 400D low water pressure

I wonder if someone out there in Aqua Hot Land can help me out. Mine has very low water pressure. Low enough that the diesel burner will not kick on to heat up the water. But when the electric element will keep it warm. But my problem is still very low water pressure. I have a great cold water pressure in the RV but when you switch to hot it just trickles out. Any advice at all? Someone mentioned to snake out the coils in the boiler. But Camping World told me something completely different. Does anyone have any experience with this? My model is a 400D

Yes, all faucets and shower. When anyone or all are switched to hot water hardly anything comes out.
I agree with you in regards to camping world. They said the system works fine when in bypass mode. Perhaps the mixing valve needs to be changed out?

Mark the current position of the mixing valve. Then turn it back and forth to to free up any corrosion that may be restricting the valve

It could be calcification in the boiler tubes or the mixing valve. Did this happen suddenly or has it been getting progressively worse? I would recommend removing a faucet aerator and check the screen for signs of calcium. Try running faucet w/o aerator, is flow better? If found, time to have the system decalcified.

My money is on a bad mixing valve. All your hot water comes through the valve.

I would bet on the mixing valve. I guess you could have a boiler tub issue as well.

If all your faucets are running slow but working properly on cold I would not suspect the faucets.

Agree mixing valve. I've had a similar issue and exercising the valve fixed the problem. Easy enuf to try and see if that helps. It's on the backside of the AH.

Depending which year/floorplan, you may need to remove a partition in the basement to get to it.

Mark the current position and rotate the valve to it's max in both directions a few times. Maybe even with a water faucet turned on to help flush out any debris.

If that doesn't work you may need to descale your plumbing. One DIY option: [https://www.jcwhitlam.com/Product/1/114/102#

Use of a water softener would help minimize future scale buildup.

I exercise the mixing valve once a year to help prevent problems with it.

I replaced the mixing valve today. That did not help. Water pressure is still extremely low when faucet or shower is turned to all the way hot. On cold, everything thing flows great. We've always had a water softener on the system. This is driving me nuts. The diesel burner comes on fine and does it's thing. Now, the water isn't that hot. I even have the new mixing valve turned all the way to open at the 145 degree mark.

Are the hot water by-pass valves on top of the Aqua Hot open all the way?

I assume you are talking about these two valves circled in blue? They are open all the way. There is another valve circled in green. That is closed and I assume it's some sort of cross-over valve.

Did the hot water flow slowly get worse or just go from normal to super slow nearly instantly?
