Aqua Hot 450D

Ok ole wise ones - My Aqua Hot seems to cut off for some own known reason. I have the floor heat set at 92, the heat system at 74 and the diesel heat turned on - then for some reason the diesel heat turns off and the floors are not warm . I am on 30 amp shore power. I am mystified - all of the heat should stay on until the desired temp is reached. What am I doing wrong or is there a auto shutoff that I am not aware of. The basement heat is 46 and the outside temp is in the 30s.

On the 2020 you have a screen in the basement by the Aquahot that’s supposed to help with troubleshooting. Is the green light on in the diesel burner switch? Also check the Aquahot control panel for any red lights. Also a picture of the control panel would help.

All is good for now, however I will check to see if the diesel switch is turned off. It is currently on. Is there a Vega touch switch setting that I am using incorrectly?

The diesel burner icon on the Vega touch should have the green light on when diesel burner is selected.

It does have a green light, does it come back on once the coach cools down. Is the floor heat icon light up?

Aquahot recommends an annual service. Our first faults with our unit occurred at 10 months after purchase.

The Aquahot would run for a while and then shut down, entering what the AH Tech referred to as “lockout”. We discussed it for a while, and his suggestion was to perform a routine service before getting excited about anything else.

I serviced the unit and it performed flawlessly.

Barring a VegaTouch/Technology issue, I’d perform a routine service.

Had the same problem while traveling last month. I had it serviced and the problem was solved. Then a week later while traveling to the mothership the problem returned. Only this time it only happens while the coach is NOT plugged in. Once it's on full shore power the it works fine. I suspect it's voltage related. Hoping Entegra has the solution so I don't have to drive with the penny on while on our way to Tampa this January

Keep in mind it takes 24 hours or so to warm the floors.
They are not like electric heat and don't get that hot. warm is more of a description.

Do you get “Burner Fault Error” on the VegaTouch?

No faults - however I did find out what I was doing wrong. I turned down the temp for zone 1 and turned up zone 2 - 10 degrees warmer than zone 1 and all is working as advertised - who knew? Well not me LOL

I was confused on your original Post stating your floor heat was set on 92 and heat system at 74, assuming zone 1 or 3?

Glad it is working - makes it nice

"Floor heat was set on 92 and heat system at 74"? Wow! Are you baking biscuits? Something is not right if you have to set temperatures that high to get it comfortable. We fought our system for a year and a half before we figured out that it was installed incorrectly with all the control panel jumpers were set wrong for the three zones plus floor heat. Get a pro (I mean a real Aqua-Hot pro) to recheck the entire installation.
