Aqua Hot Fuses

We have never had the Aqua Hot operate for longer than two weeks without breaking down. People take their stab at fixing problems and it usually lasts two week and it gives up. Have been working with a RV repair group for a month, replaced almost everything you can in the unit and it was working great until the feeder hose for the fluid cracked and poured fluid onto the unit. The hose has been replaced, fluid replaced, but the unit will not kick off again. The repair place suggested I check the internal fuses inside the box itself to make sure one of the old style glass fuses is not the problem. My problem, I do not know where these fuses are, I have the unit open but I gathered I have to open something up to find the fuses, and the only thing I have found is a white box with a lot of wires going into it and concerned about opening to find it is not the box and causing another problem. Does anyone know where the fuses are inside the Aqua Hot unit itself. I have an Aspire and the dreaded propane unit for Aqua Hot.

Mike,

The wiring diagram shows a 10 amp fast blow fuse on the burner control board on the right side wall inside the unit or on a wire just out from the board.

We are under a bit of a storm with apparently the remnants of Harvey showing up, once that passes I will get out and see if I can find it with this direction. I sure hope it is blown when I find, make me feel like I accomplished something

I take it you have a LP 400 model or the LP 375. Is the fan blower coming on and it fails to light off? If so, I would try the fan blower adjustment. I am sure you have probably tried this before. On my LP 400, the sent me the 2" diameter exhaust pipe and a 0.92 fuel nozzle. The kit was free for certain serial numbers. Seems like I adjust the fan intake dial every couple of months. If out of adjustment it will either not light off or it will howl. Aquahot CS said altitude is the biggest factor and sometimes indifferent parts of the country the LP you buy is not always made to the same spec. I ???? That one.

Fyi, you can get the troubleshooting manual pdf off of the Aquahot website

There is also a fuse under the driver seat for the AH unit. One of my fuses on the bottom left of HarleySG image was blown at one time.

Attached is my 375LP, and on the lower right is a card that I cant tell or remember if there is an old style glass tube fuse in the board. Open your cover and take a look.Click image for larger version
