Aqua-Hot Offers Service Kit for Heating Units

Aqua-Hot has introduced an annual service kit for its line of hydronic heating units allowing RVers to perform routine maintenance while traveling. According to a press release, the kit includes everything needed to address maintenance issues and comes with a convenient nylon storage bag.

Having all the tools and disposables in one convenient spot ensures that a dealer or service center will have immediate access to the OEM parts needed for an annual service. It’s also handy for those who enjoy doing their own work and maintenance.
The service kit includes a bottle of concentrated boiler antifreeze, an electrode adjustment tool, refractometer, fuel filter and nozzle, and burner gasket. Each piece is protected in the storage bag with individual foam slots. It also comes with Aqua-Hot maintenance and boiler antifreeze tip sheets.
Two versions are available, based on whether the Aqua-Hot model runs pink or green boiler antifreeze. The company recommends staying with the same color of boiler antifreeze. All other tools and parts are the same.
Annual Service Kits have a suggested retail price of $249.99, and are available from Aqua-Hot Heating Systems for RV, UTV, RTV, a factory authorized service center or RV dealer

Nice mark up. The electrode adjustment tool is snapped into the cover and already in place next to the electrode. The fuel nozzle is $15. I purchased mine from a mobile tech and the fuel filter is a WIX 33109 or NAPA 3109 was $8.00. Nylon bag with a bottle of Crown Royal, $24.

The mobile tech that changed my motors charges $200. including all the parts and fluid it needed.

Nope, just the bag.

That is a steep price for what you get. The refractometer would probably be the most expensive piece but still!
