Aqua-Hot Service
I'm looking for a mobile service tech to perform the annual service, around central Florida (Lakeland area). Any suggestions? Apparently Paul Lancy has ceased operations for now.

Check if Darin Hathaway will be in your are. He travel Florida from Elheart during season. 574-612-485-26, dhathway77@gmail.com. He is excellent and is Entegra's rally AH tech.

Try
Darin Hathaway Aqua Hot services
Recently had my Aqua Hot serviced by Darin Hathaway and could not be more impressed with his work. His website is
Hydronicheatingspecialist.com. His shop is in Elkhart but he travels to many RV parks and rallies.
In the winter he is in FL but I'm not sure how far east he will work.

Just FYI.... I just left Quartzsite and the traveling AH specialist in this part of the world, Lloyd DeGerald has serviced all my coaches when I am out west (almost every year). However, Lloyd announced his intention to "retire" gradually from his solo business 3 or 4 years ago and pass the business on to his son Brian. However, Lloyd still showed up every year.
Well, this year, Lloyd was missing (still healthy I am told, but not doing the circuit out west) and Brian is now handling the business along with a helper. Every year, we have 15-20 coaches elect to do annual service while we are there for the Quartzsite Gathering and they allocate a full day or two to three techs to do all the coaches who want annual service or emergency repairs done, and Brian and his helper get them all done in a day or so. Same excellent service for about 15 coaches this year, but I missed a chance to talk to Lloyd.
The name of the company is now DeGerald AquaHot Service. Same approach. Same excellent service.

Super guy, fast, neat and professional. Most of all he's reasonable. We just had ours done here in Tampa.

Ernie, when you get to AZ for service, you will see how much nicer FL weather this time of the year and head right back. Might as well call Darin before leaving.

The weatherman said a week ago it would be no rain for two weeks, temp every day 70+, and night temps in upper to mid 40s to low 50s. Lovely. However we have wind of at least 20 mph all day and then yesterday at sustained 30 mph all day and a sandstorm that I have never seen before (a lot like a very dense fog, but a brown fog instead of white (it was sand and dust), and the weatherman prediction models were wrong by about 10 degrees too high. Other than that, lovely. I paid a bunch of money for a thorough wash and paste wax after Quartzsite but now my paste wax has a light coat of dust over the whole coach. Sure hope some rain sometime washes it off !!
Sorry, but I will take Arizona and the southwest any day compared to the southeast.... I don't like crowds that much -- . If you do, great, but not for me.
