Aquahot Maintenance

If you have a classic be on the lookout for a bit of water under your aquahot. There are a couple of hoses inside that have twist on connectors. Our coach is a 2012 and the twist on hoses were leaking. Ordered the new connectors direct from aquahot. You have to make the hoses since aquahot doesn't sell them...just the pieces.

And you don't want to know how aggravating it is to change...the side access panel is riveted on. The electric cord reel has to be removed to even gain access to the panel.Click image for larger version

Thanks for the tip. Makes me wonder if I should pull it apart on our 2012 before a leak happens.

Cheers

Once a year I pull all the panels I can access on the coach and make sure connections are tight and nothing looks abnormal. This one will be going on the list. Thanks for sharing.

FYI, mine are a bit different, but you can get the push lock (shark bite, sort of) plastic fittings and 1/2” PEX from any big box home center pretty cheap and make your own. I think I’m in mine around $12, but I had the PEX already.
