I know that our '06 Dynasty is a breed and a generation away from your coach, but I suspect the design criteria might be applicable. On our coach there was more than one source of power for the AquaHot system. One of those is actually between the battery and the battery disconnect. I'm talking house battery. The reason for that is that if you remove power from the AquaHot completely while it is either running on diesel or was just shut down from running on diesel, it needs to run the combustion fan long enough to cool down the combustion chamber. If we park our rigs, turn them off and completely power down the AquaHot while it the burner is operating, the damage will be costly. For that reason, they ensured that power would be available to protect the AquaHot regardless of the actions of the operator. Probably pretty good planning.
