I have ceased posting about my AquaHot because my complaints were producing zero results. I think that the AH company is poorly run and is not responsive to the actual customers. I don't think Entegra is in collusion with AH but I see a large amount of "cover my butt" business practices going on. Over the past several years I have gone out of my way to not "whine" about any particular issue but to try to analyze and post things I have learned, sometimes the hard way. As far as AH I have resorted to taking care of myself. Sorry, but that's the way I see it. My next RV might have an Oasis system....whomever utilizes that company. I am not impressed with AH.

Dave, I totally agree with you about AH and continuing to post about it. I hope those that have sludge it does not turn into solid chunks that stop the fluid flow. After showing the photos to AH they could have cared less.......not very professional at all for the concern of others and what may have caused the problem.

Maybe it's time Entegra looks into the ITR Oasis units used by Newmar. With the exception of Newmar, AquaHot seems to have the RV market sewn up.

After two years and three or more pump changes (for each pump), Aquahot is sending two replacement pumps for my coach because I have two red lights. I have ordered another and will replace the third one at my expense ($230.00). I was told that I will have to cover the installation costs. I don't think that is looking after your customers at all, when this mess is caused by the cheap crap they used in the first place, then replaced it several times with more cheap crap. Now, I have to find an installer, at MY expense.

Well I just noticed the threads slowing on ahot and shades did not know there was a system called oasis I thought ahot was it as this is our first coach . On coach hot water I will look at them, As for the other half of the post can anyone try and let us know how to help our friend waiting around 6 weeks at a time ETC, as we think we have it rough she has had her coach almost a year and is yet to try and go camping. I think they are taking her kindness as a weakness any suggestions would be constructive P.S. THX in advance.

I don't really have a great suggestion on how to deal with a bad dealer who takes forever on a repair. I have several thoughts though. One is that your friend needs to be working with the manufacturer of her coach. I would think that at this point, the coach manufacturer would be able to lean on the repair shop to expedite the repairs. I have heard stories from repair facilities about how much pressure a manufacturer can apply to a repair facility when it really means loss and disappointment of a purchaser of a new product.

Also, I have been surprised that there are small companies which deal with generators only, in contrast to a major RV/truck operation. In contrast, here in NW Louisiana, there is a small dealer that only does service on generators (but generators of all types - RV - construction etc). They are certified on Onan and a bunch of other manufacturers. They do a good business but are never backed-up for weeks at a time... usually within a day or a week, you can get in to get work done. Maybe she is dealing with the wrong people, and needs to look for a shop that can give her a guarantee that they will get on the problem quickly and not give it back to her until they are convinced that they have it resolved (it also seems very unlikely that the same part would go bad so quickly ..... makes me think that it is the wrong diagnosis and the problem is something else completely).
