Aspire Easy 3 inch Drain Replacement

Nothing exciting, and probably something you all will not have to do, but I thought I'd post the easy process of replacing the 3-inch drain pipe in the water bay.
All the photos need to be rotated 90-degrees clockwise.

First pic is simply the parts needed. $29 from Entegra for all of them.
Second pic shows the hose clamp that holds everything to the rubber boot coming from the macerator.
Third, is everything removed and the new valve put back on with the hose clamp.
Fourth is the "dry" fit.
And the last two show everything when finished.
Real easy and shouldn't take more than one hour to do.

Can I "assume" the clear plastic line is for winterizing?

Thanks for the detailed procedure and photos!

Clear line is for winterizing. I also use it to add water to the fresh tank (from 5 gal collapsible jugs we carry) when dry camping. Also use it to draw disinfectant into the tank for sanitizing.

To do that, switch the valve at the clear hose to draw from the hose, switch the city water knob to fill the tank, then turn on the pump. Water will be drawn up the clear hose and into the tank. I just find this easier and more convenient than using the gravity fill on the passenger side.

Nice job, and yes the clear plastic line is suction line to pump for winterizing.

Agree 100%. This is exactly what we do when dry camping for a week or so at NASCAR events. Works great.
