Aspire front jack pad

Is anyone aware weather or not the (bent) jack pad is removable from the hydraulic piston. 2018 Entegra Aspire. Thinking it might just be bolted up into cylinder. If I can get it off I'll un-bend it in a 40 press.
Thanks !

It does have a bolt. IIRC it is a 3/8 or 1/2 inch alan wrench. Mine was bent, but before getting home to remove it, 3 months of use it straightened out. I guess with enough use, the ground and MH weight acts as a press. It perfectly flat on my concrete floor now.

We had a bent one and like Chuck, we simply continued to use it and it eventually straightened out.

The old Equalizer pads would crush rocks. The new light weight pads, rock bend them. But they are light weight enough they are self correcting.
I should use jack pads on rocky parking sites, but I am still use to the old style crushing the site flat, and I don't think of it.

Chuck, I wonder if you could retrofit the older pads?

I don't know why, but finding them might be a problem. The old jack pistons were also about twice the size as our currents rams. Another Vendor that went south on quality.

Well, success. The allen socket bolt is 1/2". Removed, straitened in press, re-welded cracked weld where plate is attached to collar. This plate was bent at about a 70 degree angle, not sure how it could correct itself. The jack was straddling a concrete pad and a grass area. Unfortunately, the center point was over the grass, with the ground being soft the ram drove down into the soft grass, and the plate stayed stationary on the concrete, until it bent.

Paul, glad it was fixable. That one does sound too bad to be self correcting, especially the welding.

Heading to Camp EC for PDI last July and noticed upon arrival, the curb side rear pad had fallen off! Hope someone didn’t have a bad day running over that thing!
