Go to take off this morning and coach won’t start. Green ring around button flashes twice then nothing. Any ideas would be great

Think I got it. Must be batteries in Fob. Smacked them against wheel and I got it. LOL

First thing to try is hit the lock unlock on your keyless transmitter(Key fob). If door locks and unlocks try to start again. (Battery may be low on your transmitter) Try your second key fob
Second Item... Is the coach completely aired down ie… sitting for a while? If so you may need to hit the bypass switch at the bottom left of steering column.
If neither of the above works do a shut down of chassis batteries for five minutes. Then try that.
If all that fails call Spartan for help.

I was told to keep the key 10 feet away from the dash when not driving to save the battery in the FOB. I keep our keys in the draw next to the sink in our B.

If I moved my FOB to your location, my coach would never start.... too far away.

The only time that the coach and the FOB should "hand-shake" is when the ignition is first turned on (The Green Circle illuminates).

We had this exact symptom when visiting the Grand Canyon in October. The temperature had dropped in the coach overnight when we were out backpacking. The low temperature had weakened the transmitter signal from the fob, due to a weakened battery.

We immediately suspected the key fob and had our spare in the bedroom. I retrieved it and the engine started.

After getting back to civilization we replaced both key fob batteries with new batteries and now carry a couple of spare FRESH key fob batteries, just in case this reoccurs in the future.

I gotta admit, I would PREFER just having a regular old fashion key to start the rig instead of the electronic key fob and push button start. I'm a believer in the KISS system......
