Careful...I remember a couple Cornerstone owners and joining their club, who teased me endlessly about being an Anthem owner...but then one of them also wanted to cut my hair. The CS eventually happened (and of course the teasing was in fun...the haircut didn't and hasn't and won't...till I'm ready!

Perused a thread where the Entegras using the Spartan chassis were having issues with leaking radiators.

I knew I picked the right Form to ask Questions!! After all your advise we are leaning toward Anthem!
Now can someone tell me the differences between 2015 & 2016 Anthem!
Found a few that I can buy for about the same price as a new Aspire!!
Sorry for all the questions!!

Spartan had a batch of bad radiators in the MM and MMGT (ISL) chassis lines. They weren't every one but there were a number of them and it never affected the K3 chassis under the Cornerstone. The vendor had some QC problems with the tanks and soldering. That has since been corrected with a new design and I believe, a new vendor.

Mark, a slight correction......Tommy, Anthem46 just reported having his radiator changed on his new 2016 Cornerstone with 3,000 miles on it. I asked Spartan about the vendor yesterday, but the question was avoided. Hopefully your information is correct and the "new" radiators they are shipping will solve the problem.

Our '13 Aspire was super, but I aspired to the bigger truck so I skipped Anthem and went straight to CS

They are all great. Actually, all Biblical names, too. Just that some models raise the bar a bit higher. There is no bad choice, just a matter of matching what you like and feel is worth it to your finances.

Fortunately that was a fluke that can happen any time to any coach or brand. If there was a series of K3 radiator failures I'd probably be losing a bit of sleep and wearing out flashlight batteries from checking it all the time.

Mark, you have much more inside information than I do, which makes you so valuable to this forum. I am glad to hear that information. I thought I had escaped the bad batch of radiators after a year with no problems. However after passing 6,000 miles it got me.

The first time I lifted an engine hatch on an Entegra I drew blood where I cut my finger.
There's a technique where you have to know where to place your two hands to lift it smoothly. Newbies generally find that out the hard way. I did.
The new power lift is cool. It makes it super easy and also impressive for anyone watching.

How can you open the engine hatch if the power feature fails?
