Aspire prices on the rise!

Well, thought this would happen. Entegra Coach just raised the prices of the Aspire by a little over 1%. Anthem and Cornerstone have not been affected yet.

No shock here, with the two big RV shows past, Hershey and FMCA, and record sales reported for Entegra Coach and the RVOne Guys working the display(close to 40 new), it was just a matter of time.

From what I understand, anyone on a ordered coach now will not be affected.

Cruising all the displays, no one has the "Bang for the Buck," that the Entegra Coach line has. They have come a long way.

You will always get better pricing towards the end of the year Nov/Dec or so I'm told. Hey, it's only money LOL

I've figured this was coming all along. To grab market share they were pricing at cost or below. There was no way to sustain the company with that pricing.

I'm not sure how a 1% increase is going to make much difference if you are selling at cost or worse yet below cost. Especially with inflation at the government reported "3%" which if you look around is probably more realistically 6 or 7%.

Who is selling below cost? I was told you can get into a Aspire at around $250 and an Anthem at $300,000. That I think is pretty much at cost plus 3 or 4 percent over dealer cost...

cost

I don't know who told you that you can buy an Anthem for 300,000, but I sure wish that dealer had been around last Feb. I checked with about every dealer in the country and didn't get 300,000 from any of them and I know they have had at least one price increase since then. Noel

May be a come on but was told in Nov/Dec dealers want to move stock and was told "around 300K" for an Anthem... year end sale come on?? I actually have a email reply on an Aspire for $249,999... I'm not sure what an extra 50 to 70K is going to get you in an Anthem?? Nicer title? A different finish on the cabinets?

Tom, you actually get a LOT more in the Anthem. You get the 16600 IFS suspension on the front axle instead of the 14600 solid front axle. You also get the integrated girard nova awning on top. Then there is the diesel Aqua Hot instead of the propane powered one (a big difference in my opinion). The Anthem is all electric with 8 gel cell batteries and 2 big inverters, fire place standard and no propane tank taking up a whole bay in the basement. There are a host of other upgrades on the Anthem that the Aspire does not have but these are the main reasons we picked the Anthem over the Aspire.

I was quoting Mr. D. I don't believe for a moment Entegra is selling below cost anywhere in their product line at least I hope they aren't, I want them to stick around.

On the pricing issue the Anthem all electric could be purchased in several locations in 2011 for 285-290k. Don't know about current pricing.

List price on the Anthem is about $30,000 higher today than 2011. I don't think you can get particularly close to $300,000. now but if you can please let me know 'cause I'll buy it!
