I have verzion and happy with it ... except the high cost. I have a jetpack that we use quite a bit ... and I changed to the unlimited plan ... well, about mid month, I get a text saying that I've reached my 10GB 4G LTE allowance on my "mifi" and will be throttled back to 600 Kbps until next bill cycle. Just did an on line "chat" with Verizon and was told that today (yah, right); that Verzion has changed it to 15 GB data for the mifi and to reset my jet pack and it will take effect. Interesting .... huh ....
Anyway ... just an fyi.

Here are photos of Wifi Calling settings on iPhone. They are found under the Phone category in Settings.

We ditched Verizon prepaid years ago about the time they changed their sales model to "Buy a data pool and add phones to it" plan. Which would have increased our monthly outlay significantly. We wanted to keep our current plan and just upgrade our phones (new every two). They wanted to charge us a $35 activation fee for each of the new phones even though we had been Verizon customers since before they bought out Alltel. No thank you.

We switched to prepaid MNVOs on the Verizon network (StraightTalk, PagePlus) until we planned a trip to St. Croix in 2014 and wanted cell coverage. AT&T had that coverage at no additional charge so we bought a GoPhone and went with the $45 plan. After the trip we changed all plans to GoPhone because of the coverage and roll-over data and the fact that AT&T allows tethering on its prepaid plans. In fact, over the years AT&T has kept increasing the monthly data allowance on it's plans. We never have coverage issues, but burned through 11 Gb of data on one phone over our July 4 trip (tethering) so we picked up a Mobley and the $20 plan a couple of months ago. So now with just my wife and I we have 36 Gb minimum high speed data, 12 of which can be rolled over monthly if not used, at the monthly cost of $100 total (not including taxes). Can't beat that with a stick!

Our current phone and internet solution is a pair of Verizon Galaxy S7's both with unlimited and an AT&T ZTE Hot Spot (also unlimited). So far so good, coverage everywhere with one or the other providers. And no throttling of any kind.

Thanks Mark. I found it, it's under Advanced Calling on the Samsung. I will set that up on my home wifi, which is DSL, thank you!

I just received an email bulletin day before yesterday, that Verizon had changed their unlimited data plan for the 4th time this year. I am not on an unlimited plan with my Verizon phone, but they wanted me to sign up at the higher rate.
