As I recall its pretty much all 2 lane and I could never do the speed limit in my rig on a good bit of that run from Calhoun to Gainesville. The road surface was pretty good.
All that said if you take your time, keep your speeds where you can react to sudden curves and hills -- you'll be OK.

Thanks! We take back roads when we go from Cleveland to Wampum, Pa to go to Pitt Race. Only thing I dread on this route is trying to pass an Amish buggy, you read about accidents with casualties including the horse.
