ATT Mobley and DTV in Canada

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if Mobely's unlimited plan works in Calgary? I assume DTV can still pull signal from the satellite?

I don't know anything about Mobley but DTV can pick up the satellites in Canada. You have to have a much clearer view to the south as the beam is almost horizontal. Do you know something about the Canadian border I don't [emoji848] last I heard it was still closed.

Last I heard Mobley does not work in Canada. DTV works.
in Calgary but did not work for me in Nova Scotia.

Hi Bruce,

We returned home in 2019 along the north shore of Lake Superior and the Georgian Bay of Lake Huron, crossing back into the US at Niagra Falls. The Mobley lost connectivity very shortly after we crossed the border at Grand Portage and didn't reconnect until we were back in the US.

I spent quite a bit of time on the phone and exchanging emails with various AT&T customer service folks discussing the loss of connectivity. The short version was that, "No, the Mobley Connected Car service will NOT work in Canada."

That was in the fall of 2019. Although it's possible that things have changed in the Connected Car plan since then, I'd be surprised. We did add the Canada service to our Verizon Jetpack plan and maintained connectivity that way.

On a completely different subject (and off topic) there's a very well done World Heritage Site less than 2 hours south of Calgary: Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump (https://headsmashedin.ca/). Well worth a visit.
