During my last service I buggered up the soft metal 7/16 (I think) flare fitting that attaches to the bulkhead fuel fitting. Please, no lectures on proper wrench usage. It is unusable and leaking a bit - I noticed a couple drops of diesel on the pavement under the Aquahot. I have pinched off the rubber fuel line. A replacement fuel line is not listed on Roger Berkes site. Is this repairable (with tools I might have already or easily gotten from NAPA)?

If you can remove the line back to a fitting you could take it to a Pirtek guy. They make custom hoses, lines and do field repairs on commercial equipment and trucks. They could cut, bend and crimp any type of line you want.

There are two places in Houston listed nearest you. None found for College Station

A pic would help identify which line you buggered up..Hopefully NOT one of the "banjo" tubes to the pump..

Bob, it's usually the reducer fitting that the fuel line is screwed into that is the problem that allows this leaking. I had 2 of the reducers that had to be replaced in the last year or so. They can be found on Rogers site and they cost $8.00 each. I don' have the product number. It is very easy to wreck the fittings, so I now carry an extra one of these reducers. You have to wiggle the pipe and tighten the nut by fingers as far as possible before putting a wrench on it. It helps if you use a flare nut wrench also. The wrench wraps around the nut a lot more than regular wrenches do.
