AW 46 Hydraulic Oil?

I need a little hydraulic oil and can't locate any AW 46. I have checked with several parts stores and even a couple of Spartan repair shops. No one has it on hand and two of them could order it, but I had to buy five gallons. Where are you finding it, or can I use something other than AW 46? Thanks for any help.

depends what your using it in
AW is anti wear additive
32 is 10wt, 46 is 15wt, 68 is 20wt.
what system are you adding it to, and what does the manufacture say what weight they want. any farm store or equip. store should carry it.

Out here even Wal*Mart, Costco and NAPA carry the AW 46. I needed AW32 and NAPA had it in stock.

costco's the cheapest place i've found for hyd. oil. almost 15.00 less for 5gal. over anyone else. last time i bought some it was 44.95.

Tractor Supply stores often have it in 1 gallons.

I'be got almost 3 gallons of it left over from changing and filling my hydraulic system. You are welcome to it but you'd have to pick it up! ��

It is a shame to have to buy 5 gallons when you only need a little.
