Awning #2 won't retract

We put our awnings out for first time this afternoon. Thought we should put them in for the night. #2 awning won't retract. Tried remote and panel on inside.
Any help much appreciated. Thank you.

Hey guys glad we met you at MacDill. As for the awning we usually had to try ours several times on the 14. Sometimes we would hold the sw for several seconds other times we would just push the button several times. The buttons in the cabinet are just another remote, they're not hard wired. The big awnings are 120 volt but I'm not sure where the breakers are located. Make sure the cover on the inside remote isn't holding the extend switch down, we had that happen once. Noel

Hi Noel. Enjoyed our visit with you and Lois too. Hope shoulder is progressing. There just happened to be a mobile RV service guy here at park about 10 minutes after I posted. He has been here ever since 1 1/2 hrs now. Can't figure it out. Trying to change up some wiring now. He said we should have a manual crank tool to get it in. Have searched entire coach with no luck.

Try unplugging from the passenger side compartment bay and then plugging back in (reboot)

No manual crank. Hope the tech gets it figured out. Is there a green light on the white receivers in the front ps compartment. Noel

Try plugging the rear awning into the front awning power supply. I believe there is a manual switch on the power supply. Also the original batteries in the remote are not of high quality. I had to replace mine second time I used it. Hope that works.

Well the service man tried to switch the white remotes in basement compartment to get the rear awning in. That didn't work either. Both remotes in basement compartment had red lights. Now after a big spark LOL only one has a red light. He is coming back tomorrow. Guess we aren't going anywhere soon.
Thank you for all the advice. Much appreciated

While at FMCA rally in January, Entegra was preforming work on dishwasher. The wind started picking up and I wanted to store awnings. They wouldn't retract either...... what I found out is the power for the awnings is in the basement, however the power comes from the kitchen circuit ( Kirk had it off to work on dishwasher ) after repair was complete, kitchen circuit turned back on, awnings worked again as well.........

Double check your kitchen breaker, as well power supply in basement to feed your awning power controls as well.

I had a very similar problem on friday. My front awning wouldn't go in but my rear one would. Also only half of the LED lights on my awning are working, not sure if that's related.

I was able to hold down the remote for several minutes and it came back in an inch at a time. I tried unplugging the units and plugging them back in. It didn't seem to do anything.

I sure wish there were a way to manually bring them in.

No idea why it's not working.

Katty, I hope you will post what the fix turns out to be. I am sure there are several watching in case we run into the same problem.

When you press the in button now, listen if you can hear the motor try to start. If you can then the below may help. Remember if you have been hitting open and close a lot the motor will trip on overload. You will need to let it cool for an hour or so. It will reset itself after it cools.

We had a similar issue and what was happening is the awing adjustment went out to far and the arms locked open. When pressing the in button on the remote I pushed on the lead rail this was enough to start the retraction. After you can adjust the travel using the Girard instructions.
