Banging noise in front end when turning

I have a 2015 Anthem 44B. I get a loud banging noise when making sharp turns as I start out. The suspension has checked out good but it still happens.
It sounds like it is on the passenger side.

I would find a shop that figure it out.

You can contact any NIRVC service department. All are Spartan certified. You either need to get the ball joints checked or it could be in the steering needing the friction washers installed and retorqued on the bell crank. This is from our chassis tech.

Does this pop happen when turning to either side?...
Mine pops occasionally when turning left and the coach is cold ..

As Bobby (NIRVC) had mentioned, the bell crank area seems to be a recurring area that may be causing the problem.

Does this apply to both solid axle and independent suspension? My 2015 Aspire is solid axle...

While under the front end check and make sure the top shock mounts are not cracked or broken. I have just had to replace both shock brackets due to one being broken and the other cracked. The replacements brackets have more metal on them to hopefully keep this from happening again.

I had the Bell Crank issue on a 2017 Anthem. NIRVC Las Vegas fixed it for me.

Just a guess; John, if you upgraded the shocks to Koni’s as many have, the shocks require a spacer. Maybe that is the sound you hear. I don’t recall anyone prior mentioning the solid axle was included in this initially.

That's a possibility...I did the Koni upgrade a couple of years ago and I didn't add any spacers. I also haven't noticed and rubbing or worn spots on the shocks themselves but maybe they are bound up when in an extreme angle. I'm gonna check this when I get back to the house next month....

The rest of the story goes; I had Koni’s put on out here in Phoenix at Massey’s. I read about others doing the upgrade etc., and told them they had to add the spacers. They did not.
That Fall, at Spartan, they added them saying there are rub marks on the shocks. Can’t honestly say I recall hearing anything.
At low speed I’m usually focusing on whatever maneuver I’m doing than listening to the front end.

Spartan said ours was a ball joint left side. Please let us know what you find
