Basement heat and smart wheel

Good day All,

Two questions I am looking for help with,
#1 with my 2014 Anthem what heat zone needs to be on for the basement heat to work?

#2 I have a smart wheel, the levers on each side of the wheel do nothing when when moved up or down. I was told they were to controll the radio. LD's was no help.

Best regards,
Carl Allen

#1. The basement heat is controlled by the basement thermostat. You must have the Aqua hot on either diesel, propane or electric depending on your choice and coach. You do need the system set to heat on the thermostat in the bathroom I THINK.

I had some issues with my smart wheel radio controls. Turned out to be a loose connection in that rat's nest of wires behind the radio. NIRVC's Scott helped me at one of the "Fests". When you get it running, the right upper is volume; the right lower changes the channel up or down. The left ones are off switch (upper) and radio mode select (lower). Ignition switch must be on for any of them to work. Doesn't surprise me that LD was no help.

Take a look at the thread on setting basement thermostat. That may help to clarify some things and per Ann & Gene do turn the bathroom switch to heat and select AH burner on for quicker heating.

There was an excellent post earlier in the year on how to operate but I am having problems locating it. They gave a great synopsis of each zone etc and switch position.

Hope it helps

Carl, on #2 you have to read the manual. Oh, wait a minute, it not in the manual ;-)

Thanks to all that responded and thank you Jim for the correct zone number, I have asked two dozen people the question and you are the first that could give me the real answer.
Many thanks!!
