Bathroom door scratches?

I noticed these scratches the other day.
44B, main bathroom door. 2 parallel scratches, about 1/4" apart, 3" long.

I'm gonna pull the mirror off the bedroom wall, see what I can see.

Now that's no fun at all. On the left edge of the access hole there is a vertical 2x3. The end of the scratch is just past it. No access, nothing to see.

What am I missing?

Why are my upsode down?

A staple would do that.

Well poo... I guess it could. A staple into AIR, rather than holding that luan on to the 2x3.
I'll go pull the mirror off again, brb.

Thank you TandW for getting me to take another look.
There was in fact a random staple shot into air.
One of those 3/4" long ones. Yes it matches other staples in this area.

I pulled it out, it won't cause any more damage.
I did leave a mark, but it's under the mirror so not a killer.

What (that I can buy) do you use to fill holes and or touch up the color of your Entegra "Natural Cherry" woodwork?

You can get touch up sticks from Entegra parts. I got for mine when I repaired a crack in pocket door

Hi! I'm curious how you reattach that mirror? Ours popped off. Gorilla glue or epoxy?

The big mirror in the bedroom of a 44b? on the "bathroom wall"?
ours is held on by a museum quality picture hanger, matching metal parts on wall and picture, just lift the mirror up.
Velcro on sides and bottom.

Thank you! so much to rattle around LOL - We have a sliding door to the big closet in the back that only has a mirror - no backing, no clips, it was just glued in and came off. It didn't break so I'm wondering what kind of glue, and separately why there are no clips of any kind there....

My wife says these are called "museum hangers".
They hold pictures on real good, along with some Velcro to keep em from bouncing.Click image for larger version
