Bathroom Fan

DW wants to clean (thoroughly) the bathroom fan.
Before I break something, I need to ask what is the best way to take it apart for cleaning. From the roof or inside ?

You can remove the screen and fan from the inside. After they are removed you can close the cover and clean it.

Once you remove the screen you'll need an allen wrench for the set screw holding the fan in, can't remember what size.

Ken,

The 4 white tabs holding the screen in are turned 90 degrees, remove the screen, then the set screw that holds the fan itself on is .... I think, because the stamp is very small, 5/32 Allen.
I included a picture.
One of the easier jobs to do with a minimal threat of something going wrong!
