Rex Racer I don't know if this is the same one but there is a rear engine door actuator wiring harness recall. Got mine in mail in Canada a few days ago. Apparently on some units both sides of plug ins on each side of engine access area have male pins rather than male and female. Mine has the problem. If after you inspect using instructions sent out with recall (just unplug two connections and look at the pins)CS sends you one or two adaptor connectors to correct. It seems like an easy fix.

The Vega certainly is glitchy with false warnings about battery equalization, empty water tanks, even if one wants them that way, etc,. Hopefully they will get it sorted out soon.
I'd like to second an earlier recommendation on this forum for those in north Texas to consider Industrial Power, a Spartan service dealer here, if they need to have the recalled Spartan (Cummins) wire harness on the 2017's replaced. They are doing mine in a courteous and sharp way this morning, giving me time to sit in the waiting room and send out messages over the Internet. Thanks again.

Retraced. Sorry, Idont have more info on vin numbers included in recall. One other owner in n Texas area had earlier mentioning receiving same and having it done by industrial power here. I assume you would have been notified. The problem was possible electronics interference with the acceleration unless the harness was changed. I had Spartan send me the harness first, as the IPower people were leery of getting the part in a reasonable period.
They are an excellent outfit that handles many city and private trucking fleets, seeming to have their act together and really care about the customer. The head service manager checked the work performed on my enters. They are also a full service rv outfit on RV repairs, storage etc.

I've received a new Vegatouch today. They had a hardware reset followed by a software update and then a system reset.
Took care of the daily Equalization request throughout the month of December.
Then the update revises the system routines for operating the coach under anything less than 50amp power as we will be in Tampa and at both the spring God Sam and FMCA rallies.
Everyone will need these.

Can you provide a screen shot of the Vega Touch so we know which version of the software and hardware we should receive when we ask for the upgrade?
Thanks
Jay

Apparently they are sending me a new one also. After almost 4 weeks still waiting for a working coach. The CRAZY factor is, for 3 days I have been trying to get through to service in Atlanta and I can not reach or get a return call.

I wonder if their phone system is up and running yet. It was not functioning during the grand opening.

Have never gotten the equalization demand? Did get a software update at Octoberfest in Vegas, must have been resolved on that update.
