AH AGM. the AGM type battery is what is called a "Valve Regulated Lead Acid" so you should NEVER open it to "Check".. also AGM"s are "Starved ELectrolyte" meaning THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO appear to be Dry. no liquid in evidence, ever save at the initial fluid charge, Just enough to mositen the fiberglass sheets, no more.
