Birmingham to Chattanooga

Anyone know a good campground between Birmingham and Chattanooga on 59 for a overnight ?
Just looking for easy in and out, as it's just a overnight.

Thanks
Boyd

We've stayed at RiverCountry several times for an overnight.

Welcome to River Country Campground - Home Page

They have one really long pull through on the end of a row that works great for us.

Roughly how far off 59 is it ? Map makes it look like 15 miles or so.......which is not terrible.

Boyd, I literally live within minutes of it. It is a very nice place and has a GREAT reputation. If it was me I would go Highway 59 to Hwy 759 to Hwy 411. It is right there by the bridge. Also another nice place to stay is Noccalula Falls Campground - Campground — Noccalula Falls

When you coming through?

A well known restaurant is very near the campsite, Top of the River. It is known for Catfish, Greens and Cole-Slaw.

We stayed at River Country 2 years ago in a pull in river front site. If there would have been another rig with slides in the site next to us, we wouldn't have been able to put our awning out.
