Black rims

Has anyone considered black rims for their motor home.

Only if I was going to " Murder Out " my ride .

But then I'd have to either vinyl wrap or full body paint the rig Black.

I personally think it would be dramatic and look a whole lot better than the full body " Pink " paint job we saw in Prosser Wa. last fall.

This is just my impression, but the "look does not do much" for me but it sure would stand out. (and it would be a "sad ending" for all those lovely expensive polished Alcoa aluminum wheels).

I am really old fashioned (75) but I just think they are ugly. Of course I remember when they were all black then Alcoa came along[emoji2].

I like the look on my Wrangler, so I would try it on a coach.

Nope, not a fan of black wheels even though I've got (or will be getting soon) a predominately black rig. Just my taste and wallet. There are other places where I'd rather spend my money.

All I have to do is take the stainless wheel covers off of my steel rims and as much old brake dust there is on them, they look black....and ugly.
That is what black wheels look like to me. Wheels that have never been cleaned.
Your wheels, your choice.

Just had a blue/black Prevost come in to the Georgia park we are in about 2 weeks ago. A similar color scheme to the RV pictured above. Had black wheels/rims. Can’t say I liked the look. Brightwork has been selling cars for over a century. For 750K I want a lot of chrome on my rig.

Looks good on some vehicles and horrible on others. Guess it's all about what you want. Personally, I wouldn't do that on an RV.

With the right color coach I think they would grow on me and eliminate me from always thinking I should polish the coach wheels.

Ken

Just learn to restrain yourself.... dirty aluminum wheels still look a hundred times nicer than spotlessly clean black wheels on a coach...

I believe Coachmen had a DP that they outfitted with black rims. It looked good in pictures but looked like crap in person.

To each their own.
