Black tank flush valve question

Guess I have to accept the fact that my endless series of questions seems destined to continue. Oh well, here comes another - The last 2 times I pulled the lever in the wet bay to open the flush valve for the black tank, it was really hard to pull, almost to the point that I didn't think it was going to come out to release the flow. It basically took all my strength just to pull it out, feels like it is sticking on something, and I am concerned that a few more hard pulls like that and I'll likely break something. It is also difficult to push it back in all the way, but not as bad as pulling it out. I lubed the shaft when it occurred the first time but it made no difference. I pulled the panel and looked inside and saw nothing out of the ordinary, although I really didn't know to look for anything specific. I understand there needs to be some resistance so that the black & gray lever shafts don't work their way loose while underway, but the last 2 dumps have definitely been different than ever before. Wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and/or may have any suggestions or recommendations on how to loosen this up a bit. My concern is that if I continue to force it (as my wife always reminds me), bad things usually happen. Thanks in advance & happy Labor Day weekend to all - Regards--

This might help. Problem is the location and access in the Entegra wet bays:

All squared away -- Thanks for the video. No drilling was required as I have a different configuration on the Anthem. But, it did get my mind right in that I needed to really lube the cable. Behind the access panel I felt around and followed the cable line (covered in rubber) from both the black & gray pull handles to each valve. Just before they reach the actual Valterra valve, there is about 4 - 6" of exposed cable. I lubed it using the Blaster white lithium spray and worked the handle back and forth several times, then repeated. They are now both working pretty smoothly. Not smooth as silk, but WAY better and I may repeat the process in a few weeks. Thanks again for the input & safe travels all--

I did the hole lube screw method. And it's slick now.
