Black tank sprayer

Suddenly stopped working. Water pressure in inlet is 40psi but sprayer does not work. Is there a back flow valve problem? If so, how to fix it. Any othe possibilities. Tank drains ok.

I don't have an answer but was wondering how you know it's not working. Is it by sound ,flow of water, or some other means. I wouldn't have a clue if mine was spraying correctly or not.
Good luck in getting an answer.

Either the spray head is plugged up or your check valve is stuck closed. Try the GEO method of water, dawn dishwahing liquid, and Calgon. Ride around with it in the tank.

Thanks Tony. I undid my hose connection and it looks like when I last used it and shut off the water, the white washer at the wet bay connector was sucked backward and distorted itself, so that when I tried to spray, the washer was blocking a lot of the water from getting into the tank. I reseated the washer and I increased the pressure to 45psi and the sprayer began working again. If it wasn't the washer, then something blocked the inlet to the tank and the extra pressure was enough to clear it. Go figure!

Roadrunner:
No sound and no water coming from the tank even though I had just emptied it and was then just spraying.
