Blu DEFvs Platinum DEF

Is there a real difference between them? Will use of Platinum make a difference in a classic coach.

No, been using Walmart Def with no issue. Buy a Refractor if you feel the need to check. You are a lot safer with a Classic than a newer coach.

Hard to know because the Platinum DEF contains a proprietary ingredient that is supposed to reduce deposits from the CAT, but there is no description of what the ingredient contains or how it works to reduce deposits. All approved DEF meet the same standards for purity and concentration, so only their special ingredient is different.

I don’t know enough about DEF usage to even comment on whether or not deposit build up is an issue, let alone an issue in a RV, but the marketing department thinks it is.

That question came up at Spartan this week. Either one is fine according to them, I think it was Big Mike.
