I have had both M&G and AF1 system. In my opinion the AF1 is the best system on the market. I have had the same system since 2008 installed in several different vehicles. The M&G is very good, but it is harder to install and is vehicle specific. If you trade vehicles you have to trade for a different unit. With the AF1 you can move it from vehicle to vehicle. Neither of these two require power from the toad to operate. As Gene would say all just JMHO. Noel

Noel, I too have had both of the above systems and liked both. Currently using the AF1. Quick question on that, if you know. Is the coach providing the power for the lights on the toad, to include taillights? Often wondered this and cannot find a good answer.

Yes the coach supplies power to the toad lights. Noel

Thanks Noel. I read about kill switches, removing fuses, and dead toad batteries all the time. I don't do a lot of traveling at night, but was concerned about killing the battery on the toad under those conditions. Thanks for the information, one less thing to worry about
