Boy is it Hot in Idaho

So hot my basement hit 100* at 7:00pm via my Vegatouch. I opened all of my compartment doors to get some air flow. When I opened my Aquahot compartment door my expansion tank showed the fluid was at half with NO diesel or heating element on. Never seen this before, temps this high in the compartments.

Stay cool and hydrated out there....This means water Joe, not Honey!!

Was just up there in northern Idaho. We were in Naples and the area was just gorgeous. Riding was awesome! Did pretty close to 1K miles while there on the Glide. If the snow wasn’t flying in Canada we would have rode into the Canadian Rockies.

Parked in Northern Idaho just outside of Hope right now. 79 degrees our, beautiful evening. We should see mid 90’s tomorrow and then it cools a bit. No snow in Canada now for a few days, should be a good window for those riders.

Hope is a nice area. Spent some time there, but make sure you get down to Coeur d’Alene. Outside of Lake Winnipesaukee in NH, the lake in Coeur d’Alene is awesome. The downtown area had plenty of bars and food. Spent a day riding the area and had a nice time.

So, you're 'Beyond Hope!'... Cool area (And much pun intended!!).

For this area it was a hot day, brushing 70. By 7:30PM or so - it was 63. Newport, OR... Pacific Shores, about an equal mix of Entegra's and Country Coaches today. But Newmar has us all out numbered, as Guarantee RV from Junction City - has a fleet of Newmar's on display here, with a sprinkling of Winnebago's too...

Best to all, stay cool,
Smitty

46F now and the daytime high will be 79F. Can’t forget to turn on the heater before bed or the kids will freeza.

Breckenridge that is.

Sounds like I need to move to higher elevations.

One thing I learned in this heat. I can feel the difference, in temperature, between the floor where the generator is and the rest of the coach.

Although the basement temperatures where in the low hundreds, the floors remained cool. Outside temperatures where also in the low hundreds and the floor above the generator was warm. I could actually feel where the cavity for the generator starts and ends.

Hey Matt - Lets hope that cool weather follows you back to Texas.

I’m in Caldwell a suburb of Bosie. Hit 99 degrees yesterday. 97 predicted for today.

Paul, I think Pueblo is going to be the last reasonably cool and dry stop on our way back to the sauna.

Oh well.

Looks like FL is the bargain this year. 90* where the rest of the nation, in most place has been above 100*. RV parks rents are 1990 prices this time of year. However I wish I was in one of the other places, like CO.

It's a very comfortable 75 here in Buffalo. Our winters are rough but our summers are pretty darn nice. It almost hit 90 a couple of days ago as a comparison.
