Broken Washer Fluid Hose

No good deed goes unpunished....broke the washer fluid hose off at the point it comes out of the wiper arm housing. I can remove the barrel from the hose but the other end snapped off clean at the base of the housing.
The small plastic piece that runs through the housing (connects to washer fluid hoses on either side) has barely enough to possibly pull out from the inside but donít want to attempt if it is fixed in place.
Cobbling various diameters of hose together would not be my first choice.
Hoping I am not the first to find out how to repair and hoping it is repairable.

Tom, I used some irrigation tubing on my previous 2016 Anthem as replacement hose. I think it was 1/4Ē. It worked fine. Also, because of constant sun exposure, I always coated the exposed hose w 303.

I carefully drilled a hole large enough to fit a small piece of metal tubing I had laying around(it was brake line). I drilled in about 3/8”. The line was the same exterior dimension as the original hose so after epoxying it in I slipped the original hose back on. I expected it to be temporary but it was more robust than the original so I never changed it.

I was thinking the same thing. If you have trouble finding the right sized tubing try your local hobby shop.

The real issue is just the right sized drill bit! Fit the tube to the hose then make sure it is exactly the right bit!

Thanks for the additional suggestions. If I canít order the part, drilling will be my next step.
