Not to be augmentative at all, but when I sold my TS which was a 2002 it sold for more than some of the 2004's due to condition and upgrades. If sold or traded within a couple of years... the above statement is true, but if kept past the first couple of heavy depreciation years then condition and equipment included(dishes, bedding, etc.) play a big factor, but only to a private party, not trade in.

After seeing your new wood color I would pay the $11,000. for that alone, but on the Anthem and Aspires, I can't see the up-charges for mostly bolt on items. The new kitchen cabinet slides were one, we were offered them and turned them down as they took up too much cabinet space. JMO but if the dealer has folded in the depreciation, the 2014 has everything you want and you can see it now, why take the chance of going through what I did for a 2015 that would probably have to be ordered and wait 6 months?

The DW loves the darker colors, but they do not have a floor plan we like in 40'. :(

The new 39 they have out mirrors the RBQ for the most part. But no Fireplace so the DW won't have it. She loves those dang electric Fireplaces. I'm amazed at the numb rod Tiffin owners who are moving over to Entegras.

Funny you say your DW loves the darker interiors. Some folks say the Entegra interiors look dated due to the colors. I though they made the coach look more refined and classier.

I agree with your point as to depreciation on an older coach and the real value at that point being determined by condition. The better you maintain it, the more value it has.

When we ordered our 2014 Cornerstone, we we happy with what we had ordered for the price, However, at least we feel, the upgrades on the 2015 were all home runs. The lighter color was a big factor - especially for the DW. For me the lighter countertops and the residential shower were big items. These alone were enough to convince us. Throw in all the other changes and it was virtually a no brainer.
Another factor, which we could not have predicted, was the problems many new coaches seem to have that were built during the tough winter up north. You certainly struggled through all the problems!! Hopefully, we won't face some of them. However, I will heed you sage advice and crawl all over the new ride with a magnifying glass.

There is a perfect example of different peoples taste. My DW would purchase a new Anthem tomorrow if it had the new Natural Cherry finish. My answer, it had better be sitting on a lot this time

I guess I need to check the production date on the one I'm looking at to be sure it wasn't built in the dead of winter?

At this point I don't think I can get 37% off a 2015. The 2015 upgrades on the Aspire are nice but really nothing that I have to have.

Ya got me there!! 100% In my opinion all of the "good" changes are on the Cornerstone, especially the wood and shower. I won't even go into the cold weather build

I have a firm price on a 2014 Aspire 42RBQ but have not gotten a 2015 Price yet. This late in the year it concerns me buying a 2014. It has to be a great deal and I think I have one. Opinions? MSRP $372,000 selling price $237,000 plus tax. Thats about 37% under MSRP. Good deal?
You must be taking a hit on selling a 2014 to buy a 2014, but it's only money.

About 8-10K hit. But better than the 18-20K hit the dealers wanted me to take on trading it in.

Funny how we all think differently. I bought the Aspire late model year, then did my own upgrades, and have everything we desired and pocketed the difference between the Aspire and the Anthem so I could buy fuel.

Just how I think...lol!

The fireplace is a must for her also.

After seeing the 2015's Anthems (didn't see an Aspire up close) at the factory last week....I have to agree. However the 2015 Cornerstone did turn our heads, those have some nice changes that can be seen with a real WOW factor.
