Cabin Air Filters

After one year it was time to replace the home made cabin air filters. Quite a difference between the new and old.

Thanks for the post Don. Would not have thought about our cabin air filters. Where are they located? I'm sure mine need changing also.

Peter,

If you did not do the mod yourself then you will not have them. It is easy to do and access from above the generator. Just need some Velcro that has tape on one side and outline each opening in the dash AC unit, then cut 2 pieces of furnace filter material (Home Depot) and stick it on.

Just look at all the dirt you could be keeping out.

Good reminder Don. My dash A/C quit on the way home from Middlebury. First thing I did was clean the filters....too bad it didn't help.

Shows those filters do work.....it did cut our inside dust down.

Thanks Don. Sounds like an easy mod even I can tackle after I get my coach back next week following the new microwave install from Beaver Coach. (THANK YOU JOYCE).

Peter,

It is very easy. Open the front generator cover and look up and towards the rear, you will see the 2 openings in the Evans Tempcon AC unit to outline with the Velcro.
