I have been watching the news and apparently, California really needs the water. I'm sure that is an accurate report.
Well, I'll tell you, I just completed a 4,000 mile trip from Louisiana to Pennsylvania and a few other places and back while managing to visit every living member of Dee's and My families, and there is
absolutely no shortage of water in any of the Southeastern states and as far North as Pennsylvania and New York.....
Good Grief. I have driven in downpours at least every other day this whole damn trip and I am sitting in a downpour here in Dallas right now.
As part of the infrastructure funding the government is discussing, there better be a ton of money to bankroll a massive pipe-line to push this deluge of water from those of us who have way too much to those of us who have way too little !!!!
California.... come and get some of this .... this is nuts.
The only good thing about this is that I have not even considered washing or having the coach washed on this whole trip.... It would be throwing good money after bad. The Cornerstone looks like
crap from all the road dirt! Embarrassing !!!
Only had a major failure of my house battery bank that is now going to get replaced (~ $3,000). Didn't have to spend days in any repair shop this whole trip....
the Cummins and Spartan parts of this coach performed admirably...... Thank you Cummins and Spartan !!!!
I've decided that I am not as young as I used to be..... this trip has my butt dragging .... maybe fewer miles in longer periods of time... Seemed like a good idea at the time..
EDIT: My wife wants me to add that EVERY state has some good pavement and bridge transitions, and some really terrible interstates and highways.... The biggest need is to deal with bridge transitions.... we have had some "world class" amusement type rides in this bus !!
