How about opening the lower cabinet doors and turn the water on, it could be in one of the bathroom cabinets?

The water tank is under the bed area in the rear of the unit. In fact I crawled under the camper to find it to see if they stuck the pump under the unit, but never found it.

I thought about that and one bathroom cabinet has the house water filter in it but no pump. Wherever this thing is it’s very well hidden.

I tried calling the Entegra Customer Service number and was on the phone about an hour with one of their reps. He was going through manuals and diagrams wasn’t able to find it either. He said he was going to elevate the question to one their production guys and would get an answer to me by email.

That's gotta make you feel better that even CS can't locate it.

Take care,

I’m really glad that it works and isn’t an immediate problem. I wonder if they make units with water pumps that aren’t accessible. I’ve never seen one I couldn’t get at but who knows what they might do if it saves a dime.

Does the bed lift up? Hers lifted up at the end of the bed to reveal the water tank and the pump.

Yes the bed lifts up but the storage bay (I guess it’s called the wet bay) is under there and no pump located under the bed that I can see. The water tank is actually located on the back side of the storage bay along the centerline of the vehicle.

I guess I should explain that better. The bed is situated across the rear of the unit and is a rear slide out. The foot of the bed lifts up but is only open toward the head of the bed. The lower portion is covered with plywood. So it is open over the storage bay but solid over the foot of the bed and the water tank is under the solid portion of the bed.

I will be interesting where you find it. I had a Gas A rig before this one, and the water heater by-pass was under the bed, behind a wall panel that you had to remove to by-pass the water heater - sounds like you have a water pump hard to get to, and is probably hidden behind a similar panel in one of the bays.

If you have a heat vent somewhere in the vicinity of where you think the pump noise was coming from, you might remove it to check - usually just 2 screws to remove the metal vents.

I think you’re right; it’s time to take stuff apart.

Marty-

A search says the pump is under the bed, under a removable plywood cover on the right side.

I gather the Entegra Odyssey is similar to the Jayco Greyhawk Prestige. Info is available on the Jayco owner's site (link here, post here, pictures here).

That was it!! I looked under the bed again and removed the right side plywood cover and there it was. You aren’t the only one that kept telling me it was under there, but I was convinced it wasn’t under that big piece of plywood so I never took it off. Sometimes I’m too hardheaded for my own good. Thanks to everyone who tried to help. If I get any older I’ll be too stubborn to live with.
