Some time back, I started a thread about the loose bolts on the cargo door latches. Today, while inspecting them I found, much to my surprise
, that there are two bolts holding each latch in place. One is visible normally, but the second is hidden behind the sheet metal door panel. Several of mine were loose, and two completely backed out. Some of the bolts on my rig were mounted head up, and they were easily retorqued after removing the panels that hide the latch mechanism. The ones that were mounted head down could not be reached without cutting away a piece of the door panel.
The pics are 90 off, but the bolt heads should be down. Pic 1 is the way I found it (with the accessible bolt already tightened), Pic 2 shows the piece of door panel cut away, and Pic 3 is both bolts retorqued.
