Carpet for Anthem

We recently purchased a new Anthem from a dealer. In the rear closet there were pieces of carpet for the coach. Can any of you tell me exactly what pieces of carpet were supposed to come with the coach. Thanks.......

Ours came with 2 runners (2X5') and 1 entry area rug that also serves as a floormat for the driver.

Hope that helps, Brian

Our '13 Aspire came with custom cut rubber backed removable sections for the driver/entry area (but not the steps) and also for our rear bath floor - these match the carpeting used on the floor of the slide rooms. At delivery there were also scraps included for the entry steps but the dealer tried to throw them out.

Since then we have replaced the factory carpet with a washable commercial outdoor rubber backed carpet that can be cut to shape without binding the edges. The carpet we used is called Succession II by Shaw and after two years of full timing it's holding up great.

Credit goes to BUS4US for cluing us in to this product.

We got something similar - all ours are the same type/color of carpet. All have bound edges. It is a two-tone beige and white. It is not the same as the carpet on the slide. We got the drivers area, two - 2' x 5' runners, and one - 2' x 3' that we have been using in the rear bath area. So we end up with one long runner in front of the sofa, one long runner at the foot of the bead, and then the smaller in the rear bath.

Its' been working out so far...

And as just an fyi, if you crawl in your underneath storage bay and look up, you're likely to find spare tile in a metal frame in case you break some. Tommy

Ours had the front drivers and entrance carpet mat and one for the rear bath. Both mats are bound and cut to fit. We did not receive any runners. Sounds like there are different carpet packages.

Rob,

I hope your enjoying one of the best features of that carpet, cleaning it. We just came in from a trip and today I powerwashed all of those carpets. They are hanging over my driveway retainer wall right now drying.

Rob, they come up even better when I apply a detergent (409,Fantastic, or Simple Green) in a spray bottle before power washing. I use a similar cleaning agent I get from my Auto Recon distributer, but the three above mentioned will do the job with the same great end result. No need to even bend over. No need to get down on your knees. No scrubbing needed. Mine get sooo dirty from the dogs, and the pig, it just amazes me each time I clean them that they come up that good.

Ron.

Hey Mr. "Maple Donut",

We see you are moving and grooving. Congrats on daughter's graduation! Step in the right direction. She will be buying you tanks of diesel one day! Are you N.Y. free now and living in FL?

Carpet

Okay thanks guys for the replies back. I was told that all floors were heated except for the rear bathroom. I thought that maybe because the floor was not heated in the rear bathroom, that they would see that you get a full area throw down. I recieved a front drivers/entry carpet, and a hallway carpet and a 2x4 runner. I guess I'll have to talk to them about getting one for the bathroom for winter time. Seems like the bathroom tile floor would be a little chilly during winter.

Succession II by Shaw carpeting. Sounds great. We are looking for different carpets to replace the light colored pieces of carpet in our doorway and back bathroom. They are stained and messed up. I looked online for the Succession II carpets. Are they available in Lowe's or home depot or the like? or just in a carpet store or online. Thanks for any update info you may have.

I just called my carpet man. He does not believe the Depot or Lowes carry this type of carpet, but he is not 100% sure. He said around here in PA they do not. He told me if you go to a carpet dealer, a very large % of them deal in Shaw products, it is a popular brand.
