This is applicable to the in motion dome, but the fold up requires hard part changes.

Jeff, if you were in Breckenridge over the summer we were the gang just down the row from you.

Welcome to the group.

An easier and cheaper way is to find a way to bring the cable into the RV. That could be accomplished by drilling a hole somewhere or using a flat cable that fits through a window. Then connect the satellite dish and receiver box and then start your programming procedures.

Good luck

Hello Matt! We were up there this summer when the machine was brand new. It was a pleasure to meet you and learn from your insights.

Basically, I ended up installing a dual coax connection into the AH bay. My tailgater dual plugs into that location. From there, my coax runs across to the opposite bay and is plugged into to main input out to the main TV where the Wally lives. Boom we have TV. I did it this way based on what Mike at EC advised. I think because the architecture of the system there are several ways to skin this cat.

My long term plan now is to follow the directions from voltdoc on his write up to swap out the Travler to Dish. I will wait until we get a little warmer weather. During that project I will install an AB switch to so I won’t have to swap any wires around.

Thanks for the warm welcome and will either catch up with you at the airport or the campground Safe flights!

Cheers Jeff
