Anybody have a CB radio in their Anthem, if so where did you put it?

Lower part of the dash to the left of the steering wheel. No interference with my legs. Easy to reach.

Sorry for the newbie question but searching has not yielded the answer: Where is the CB radio antenna lead located? I looked under the dash on the left side where it is reported to be but cannot find it anywhere...?

The CB cable on my Anthem was located behind the panel to the left of the steering column.

I have this one. Everything is in the microphone which mounts on a clip by my left knee.. There is only a small junction box which is mounted behind the kick panel next to left foot in coach.

Did any of you have to have the SWR set on the roof antenna after mounting your CB's?

I haven't gotten around to fooling with the SWR yet but I am sure it needs to be adjusted.

I have the Cobra handheld also but so far it won't work with the Entegra CB antennae. We are trying to figure out what's wrong. I bought a SWR meter and I can't get signal below 2.5. I think the ground plan is messed up. Talked with Entegra CS and they said antennae might not be grounded as it should be. They mentioned there should've been a wire from antennae to aluminum roof rafters but it might not be there. We're still up in the air on what to do.

When you figure it out, please post. I have the identical equipment and situation. Thanks in advance.

George, I had the same problem on the TS, the roof top antenna never did work and I could not get the SWR match either. I finally gave up and made a non ground plane antenna mount that mounted to the mirror and that did not work either. I guess I'll try the Cobra on the Entegra and if it doesn't work, that as far as I will go with it.
