Ceiling Fan coming off

Our ceiling fan base plate is coming off the cieling (see pictures). The fan had 6 screws that hold it to the ceiling. It appears as though there is a wood runner in the ceiling that the fans are screwed into.

The front 2 screws have come loose, and I have tried to re-screw them back in. There is nothing above the ceiling any longer to screw them into. The runner must aver moved during our travels.

Has this happened to anyone?? if so how did you reattach the ceiling fan base plate.

TIA

If the backer is one solid piece, and that’s a big if, I don’t see how it could move if there are still four screws attached. Are you sure the holes haven’t become too enlarged and need larger screws? Entegra has a bad habit of using self tapping screws into wood.

10-4 on the sheet metal screws into wood. Thanks to J.H. we found that on the front shades that would drop while driving. The sheet metal screws were cutting the wood. Changed to wood screws, end of problem.

As has been suggested, try a bigger (fatter) screw

They missed the ceiling fan on our build sheet. I think I'm grateful.

Those fans can be creature comfort life savers on some nights.... Wouldnt have a coach without the fan.
