Solution Found!

As it turns out, there is another switch in the fan circuit besides the pull chain on the fan itself. It is a slider switch and is located above the bed and near one of the puck lights. The slider did nothing to turn the fan on or off. I removed the switch from the connection box and found one of the wires had come loose from the wire nut. I reconnected the wires with a new wire nut, taped the connection, turned the power back on and, voila!, the fan worked.

Thanks to all for your comments and suggestions

Ours stays on 24/7 when we are parked and in the coach. Rarely are we in an area where it is cool enough to turn it off.
