We have the same code in FL, even the garage has to be GFI, however mine seems to have been misplaced. The garage freeze kept tripping it, so it was replaced. I just have to remember not to stand in a puddle of water while using power tools.
I have had my Classic ceiling fans stick a couple of times, spin the hand crank and see if they free up. Low voltage could have hung them up and they need a push to get them going.

If strange things are going to happen for no reason, it will be on a MH.

Also found that if the coach is out of level, the fan lids will bind.
